We are proud to carry forward the legacy of Steve Mizerak, one of the most legendary figures in billiards history. Known as 'The Miz,' Steve Mizerak was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey in 1944 and became a dominant force in straight pool during the 1970s, winning over 70 tournaments during his career. He won the World Straight Pool Championship twice and holds the record for four consecutive BCA U.S. Open Straight Pool Championship titles. His incredible skill earned him induction into the Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame in 1980 as the youngest inductee at that time.
Steve founded Steve Mizerak, Inc. as president and designer to create pool cues that embodied his precision and passion for the game. In 2002, Escalade Sports acquired the company, including the exclusive line of billiard equipment and registered trademarks. Today, we continue Steve's vision of bringing professional-grade equipment into the hands of everyday players.
Our product line has expanded to include billiard tables in multiple sizes, premium composite and wood cues, and a full range of accessories. We manufacture tables ranging from space-saving 6.5-foot models to full-size 8-foot tables, all designed with the same attention to detail that Steve utilized throughout his championship career.
